Project Summary:
This project follows the established Microsoft partner film format: shaping complex innovation into a clear, human-led story that feels natural, credible and confident.

Project Stages
This outlines how the project progresses and what happens at each stage. Each stage includes a clear review and sign-off point before the project moves forward. This ensures alignment, quality, and an efficient build process.
-
Preparing all usable material
This stage is purely about technical and structural preparation of the interviews.
We are not shaping the story yet — we are cleaning and organising.
Work includes:
Removing dead time, resets and obvious mistakes
Cleaning false starts and repeated lines
Light audio clean-up where required
Organising each interview into a clean, continuous version
Assembling a full stringout containing all usable material
This ensures we retain access to every viable soundbite before narrative decisions are made.
Output:
A complete, clean stringout of all interview footage ready for review and narrative construction. This acts as the master reference if we need to revisit material later.
IN PORDUCTION
-
Finding the story within the interviews
This is where the narrative is built.
Because we have four interviewees, this becomes a two-step process.
Step 1 – Individual Narrative Builds
Build a clear narrative arc for each interviewee
Refine their strongest statements
Shape clarity and flow within each contribution
Step 2 – Best-Of Narrative Edit
Combine the strongest sections from all speakers
Structure a cohesive story arc
Refine pacing and emotional progression
Remove repetition across contributors
Ensure clarity of messaging and credibility
At this stage, the film is entirely interview-led — no B-roll yet.
Output:
A locked voice-led narrative edit (content-first version).Sign-off here confirms story, structure and messaging.
-
Building the visual story
With the VO edit locked, we move into visual construction.
Work includes:
B-roll integration to support key narrative moments
Visual pacing and rhythm development
Refining emotional beats
Logo and brand integration where appropriate
Music selection and structure
Sound design development
We also begin developing the grade during this stage so the film starts to take on its final tone and cohesion as it evolves.
This stage is about turning the structured narrative into a fully realised, premium film.
Output:
Polished narrative film with developed grade and sound ready for final refinement.
-
Finishing and compliance
This stage focuses on final polish and preparation for distribution.
Work includes:
Final colour refinement and consistency pass
Exposure and skin tone balancing
Final audio mix balance
Master export (agreed resolution and format)
Subtitle creation (embedded and/or SRT as required)
Accessibility file preparation
Platform-specific versions if required
Output:
Final master film plus all agreed deliverables and accessibility assets.
